| 23rd - 28th August 2010 | "One Heart One Wheel Campaign" |
Pearl's Jeremy had arranged a bike ride on UNI-CYCLES in aid of the
BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION. 160 miles coast to coast on one wheel!!!! Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond Jeremy's control, the ride will now not be made on Uni-Cycles but on mountain bikes. He will be accompanied by his nine year old daughter, Tyler, who will also be riding a mountain bike! "St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robins Hoods Bay in Yorkshire through the Lake District and over the Pennines." | Tuesday 20th July 2pm | Meeting | Our speaker today is one of our members, Keith Ebbatt. Keith has called his talk "A view on the 20th Century". Many of you met Keith on the trip to Bavaria. I'm sure that you will be asking him plenty of questions after the talk. |

| Monday 12th July | Newent | Meet in the car park by the lake at 11.00a.m. The walk will be partly along the restored Hereford/Gloucester Canal and on to Oxenhall before returning to enjoy a meal at "The George Hotel". Robin has not walked in this area for some years so he may get a few surprises! | |
| Hopefully we can manage to do 2 walks in August: Mondays 9th & 16th around Churchdown area, but Robin still has to plan these! These will be in the afternoon starting at 2p.m. and finishing at a tearoom! | |||
