Activities

We run a variety of enjoyable and relaxing activities!  Whatever your age you are most welcome! 

Our exercise instructors are Ian, Cherry,  Simon, Nicky and Sharon.

• All are on the Register of Exercise Professionals Instructors.

• All are qualified G.P. referral exercise instructors.

• Ian is also a Cardiac Phase 1V instructor.

       *Dates will be given in July for the August breaks

Tewkesbury Exercise Classes

At Wheatpieces, Community Centre, Columbine Road, Walton Cardiff, Tewkesbury, Glos. GL20 7SP

Every Thursday 2.30pm - 4.00pm.

Each class costs £2.50 and includes a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and gives you a chance to get to know each other. 

If you are a heart patient you need to have permission from your Doctor/Hospital.

Churchdown Exercise Classes

At Churchdown Community Centre, Parton Road, Churchdown Gloucestershire GL3 2JH.

(Bus route - No 97 from either Cheltenham or Gloucester.  Please check with the driver)

Every Tuesday (apart from the third Tuesday in the month) 3.15pm - 4.30pm.

Each class costs £ 2.50 and includes a cup of tea or coffee and gives you a chance to get to know each other.

If you are a heart patient you need to have consent from your Doctor/Hospital.

Walks.

We also have regular walks led by an experienced member of the Ramblers Association.  We often reward ourselves to a pub lunch after our walks! 

The photo on the left was taken during a walk at Crickley Hill Park.  Although it was raining our little group looked very "happy"!

Meetings

On the 3rd Tuesday in every month 2.00pm - 4.00pm.

Includes a wide selection of events and entertainment. In the past we have had quizzes, talks and comedy.  Subjects covered in the talks have included gardening, poetry, safety advice, health tips and a whole realm of other fascinating and diverse topics!  Each meeting costs £2 and  includes tea and coffee.

Trips

We also have a number of one-off trips. Past trips we have had a holiday in  Miesbach Bavaria, Christmas Tinsel and Turkey holidays in the U.K., boat trips and other visits to attractions locally and further afield.
